Gordon McCutcheon, Portland timber-man, died Tuesday morning at Providence hospital of a fractured skull suffered in a fall at his home, 2710 N.W. Calumet terrace. Funeral arrangements are pending at Finley’s mortuary.
Mr. McCutcheon, active in real estate and timber dealings on the Pacific coast from Canada to California since 1931, was born May 19, 1887, in Shelbourne, Ontario, Canada, and came to the United States in 1912. With his brothers, he was engaged in business in England, Canada, and the United States.
Surviving are the widow, Mary Virginia; a son, Gordon Jr., and a daughter, Betty Lee McCutcheon, St. Petersburg, Fla.; three brothers, Mel of Washougal; M.E. McCutcheon, Edmonton, Alberta, and R. L. McCutcheon, Toronto; one sister, Mrs. Frank Appleton, Victoria, B.C., and a grandson, Gordon Douglas Jr.
