E: Agnes (1850-1932)

E:        Agnes McCUTCHEON (4) (Charles McCutcheon-3; Samuel McCutcheon-2; Samuel McCutcheon-1) was born in Mulmur Township, Dufferin, ON. on the 15th June 1850 and she died on the 30th June 1932 in Detroit, MI. She was buried at the Mountview Cemetery in Vancouver, BC. She married Benjamin Brandith FREEMAN circa 1874 in Ontario.  Benjamin was born in Pinxton, Derbyshire, England in 1874 and he died on the 3rd December 1927 in Burnaby, BC.  Benjamin was buried at the Masonic Cemetery, Section D, Plot 312, Lot 3 in Burnaby, BC.  His parents were William and Fanny Freeman.

NOTE:   Benjamin Freeman and Agnes owned a General Store while they lived in Wiarton, ON.

  • Agnes Esther FREEMAN (5) (Agnes-4; Charles McCutcheon-3; Samuel McCutcheon-2; Samuel McCutcheon-1) was born on the 5th November 1875 in Keppel Township, Grey County, ON and she died on the 2nd April 1939 in Burnaby, BC.

FREEMAN:  Passed peacefully away April 2, 1939.  Agnes Esther Freeman in her 64th year. Survived by two sisters Mrs. Nash of Citra Florida, Alice in Burnaby. Funeral service to be held from the residence 1100 Delta Avenue, Burnaby on Wednesday, April 5th  at 2:30 p.m. Interment Masonic Cemetery.  Reverend W. H. Newbigging officiating. Central Park Funeral Home in charge.

  • Alice Amelia FREEMAN (5) (Agnes-4; Charles McCutcheon-3; Samuel McCutcheon-2; Samuel McCutcheon-1) was born on the 17th July 1877 in Keppel Township, Grey County, ON and she died on the 12th February 1942 in Vancouver, BC.

EDITH FANNY FREEMAN (1877-1958)

i.        Edith Fanny FREEMAN (5) (Agnes-4; Charles McCutcheon-3; Samuel McCutcheon-2; Samuel McCutcheon-1) was born on the 17th July 1877 in Wiarton, Bruce County, ON.  She died on the 12th February 1958 in Vancouver, BC.  She married John Wesley NASH on the 10th November 1902 in Grey County, On.  He was born on the 13th September 1863 and he died on the 5th August 1935.  His parents were Ephraim Nash and Sarah Jane Fisher.

  • John Wesley Junior NASH (6) B.  13th October 1903 in Owen Sound. ON.  They lived for a short time at 319 Glendale Avenue, Highland Park, MI.   On the 1930 US Census, John’s occupation was “Agent, working for the railroad.”  He was unmarried and Edith was living with him.

NOTE:   John Wesley Senior died of a stroke, one of many that he had. He was buried at Owen Sound, ON.
